Q: How much does shipping actually cost?
For your convenience, we’ve created the following chart, breaking down our shipping costs: shipping/handling cost by product weight - overnight delivery (includes insulated shipper and ice pack)

Q: How do you package your meat?
All of our meats are vacuum packed, and shipped to you fresh. The majority of our orders are shipped via DHL Worldwide Express. However, occasionally we may employ another shipping service if it allows us to expedite your order. This process ensures that your order will be shipped within 48 hours. All of our products are shipped in reusable, biodegradable, corrugated boxes with insulated liner. Frozen gel packs are also inserted to maintain the perfect temperature.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
Most orders are processed and shipped within two days. However, certain products are made to order and may require more notice. If this is the case, customers will immediately be contacted. If an item is not in stock, we will let you know when it will be available. In the meantime, we are happy to suggest a comparable alternative, or ship the rest of your order without the missing item.

Q: What happens if I place an order over the weekend?
We know that you expect the best when you order a Hartmann’s gourmet sausage, and we want to make sure you get it. That’s why orders received after 11:00 a.m. on Thursday will be shipped the following Monday. We refuse to let your order be compromised by slow, weekend shipping, not when you’re expecting Hartmann’s quality.

Q: Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?
Yes, we can ship to both Alaska and Hawaii. However, we can’t ship to either state directly through the website. Call us at 1-800-373-6476 and we will be happy to provide you with a shipping estimate.

Q: When I pay for shipping, what does this cost cover?
The benefit of our shipping program is that we employ several shipping services, allowing you to receive your order in only days. We find this time table extremely important. Not only do we want our customers to receive there orders as quickly as possible, we want to make sure that shipment reaches you in the best possible condition and where meat is concerned this means the faster the better.
